Day before your Tour begins (0km)
Arrive in Queenstown and make your own way to your arranged hotel
Day 1 (224-333 km)
We will collect you from your Queenstown. We will then transfer you to our bike depot in Alexandra where you will gear up and pick up your motorcycle! Start your days ride in sleepy Central Otago and follow the Clutha River on some beautiful cruising roads. Head over the windy Lindis Pass and down into the open flatlands of the Mackenzie Region. You'l join the glacial fed turqouise Lakes at Twizel and finally finish your first days ride with your accomodation in Lake Tekapo a town famous for its turqupise lake and clear nights perfect for stargazing.
Day 2 (277-328 km)
Start your second day continueing north. Plenty of small towns to pass through whilst you descend down to the canterbury plains. For the first time youl join State Highway 1. The main New Zealand highway which runs the length of the country! Some easy riding in the morning, prepare yourself for plenty of windy roads in the afternoon as you drop into the historic and picturesque french settlement of Akaroa for the night.
Day 3 (215-237 km)
Some memorable morning riding over the hills of banks peninsula. Take your time and soak it in before you head to Christchurch. Take a wonder round the city and grab some lunch. The afternoon sees you head further north rejoining State Highway 1 finishing your day in Hamner Springs, A resort town known for its thermal hot pools. A great place to soak after a day on the bike!
Day 4 (216-372 km)
Over the Lewis Pass and to the Rugged West Coast. Ride through the winding bulller gorge, see the seals at cape foulwind. Finish your day in oldest european settlement on the west coast. Westport.
Day 5 (277-337 km)
This morning will see some epic coastal roads as you wind your way and head south down the west coast. Stop at the "pancake rocks" formation, Greymouth and sidetrack to Hokitika Gorge. Continue on down the west coast south towards the glaciers.
Day 6 (287 km)
Your last day on the west coast. Heading inland ascend the Haast pass and drop down to join Lake Wanaka and Lake Hawea for some unforgettable riding. Finishing your day in Lakeside town.
Day 7 (198 km)
Leave Wanaka through the cardrona valley. Descend the crown range into the wakatipu basin. Watch bungy jumpers, visit an old gold rush town and a hideaway lake, ride one of the best roads in New Zealand. Finish your day in Queenstown with plenty to do for the evening.
Day 8 (171-193 km)
follow lake wakatipu and conquer the devils staircase as you leave the mountains of the lakes region for the open plains south. Some country towns to stop through on route. Finish your day visiting Lake Manapouri and finally Te Anau.
Day 9 (235 km)
Today you will have the option to relax on a coach or ride an infamous road to one of natures marvels, The Milford Sound. You will cruise in the fiordland for a memorable experience followed by the scenic ride or coach journey return. Today is an out and back not without plenty of stopping opportunities to see waterfalls scenic viewpoints.
Day 10 (249-390)
Return ride, Your final ride of your tour sees you head inland and crossing from Southland into Otago for some nice rural riding. Follow the Clutha River upstream, which you left 9 days ago through the arid landscape. Complete your Journey in Alexandra. After your journey we will shuttle you back to Queenstown for your flight.
