Day before your Tour starts (0 km)
Arrive in Christchurch and make your own way to your arranged hotel.
Day 1 (261 km)
Start your day in the City of Christchurch. Head South along State Highway 1. This Highway stretches the whole length of New Zealand! Some easy straight road riding to start the day, then you will head for the hills surrounding the canterbury plains. Passing through plenty of small New Zealand rural towns. Take an optional ski field access road for view. You will gain altitude over the day, winding your way through Burkes Pass, and finally dropping into Lake Tekapo for spectacular views.
Day 2 (264-461 km)
Start today riding the expanse of the Mackenze region, riding alongside turquoise lakes. Take an optional out and back to Mt Cook Village. Continue out of this basin over Lindis Pass and drop into Wanaka for some memorable riding. Finally your day concludes winding into Queenstown the busy tourist hub and adventure capital of New Zealand. A truley memorable days ride today with some very enjoyable roads.
Day 3 (300-395)
From Queenstown youl follow the road Lake Wakitipu along to Glenorchy and back. Visit an old Gold Mining Town, and watch bungy jumpers take the leap of faith. The Afternoon sees some arid landscapes, rural riding and historic towns. Finish today in the Historic settlement of Oamaru, "steampunk capital of the world"..
Day 4 (299-392)
today will see some easy highway riding as you rejoin State Highway 1 for your journey north. Pass through some highway towns, take some interesting side routes off the beaten track. Finish your afternoon winding your way from the hills into the Sea Side historic French settlement of Akaroa. For some fantastic afternoon riding!
Day 5 (117 km)
Your last day will see you enjoying the twists and turns of The Banks Peninsula. Spectacular ocean views and winding roads that cover the hills. You will see the coast and meander your way back into Christchurch to return your Motorcycle (If you require 1 more nights accommodation in Christchurch please let us know).
